It is sad to see injured birds or other animals trying to survive. Have a lovely weekend. The females are pretty, but much more subdued. So nice that you and Jack took care of the cardinal. We have them EVERYWHERE all year long. Very skittish birds, and quite vocal too. They are our state bird. :)<br />Pepper Medleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08110649461220452249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5884070878713447737.post-64768132745610580332016-12-16T08:42:57.811-05:002016-12-16T08:42:57.811-05:00Oh Lynne, this is so beautiful. So compassion...Jack is a prince and you are a dear. So compassionate the two of you are. Cardinals are gorgeous birds, and your photo is amazing. The bright pop of red in the white is classic. I miss cardinals so much. When I lived in Columbus, OH they congregated in my yard. We don't have cardinals here in the west. :( Thank you for sharing your photo. I hope the wing heals quickly and he can be back in your yard, soon. xoA Joyful Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08604235087317891071noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5884070878713447737.post-52111309349150297052016-12-15T06:08:30.307-05:002016-12-15T06:08:30.307-05:00Oh - hope the wee thing recovers!Oh - hope the wee thing recovers!Shortbread and Gingerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07356668729131346750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5884070878713447737.post-23944681596424591602016-12-15T05:21:57.959-05:002016-12-15T05:21:57.959-05:00Hello, Lynne!
