This made granny happy . . .

Yesterday morning I received a phone call
from my granddaughter Amanda!

I said a
PHONE CALL

you heard me
a phone call and not a

TEXT

I was thrilled to hear her voice
and was even happier that she wanted
to take a drive and see me.

We made a plan to meet today
at our house around lunch time.

Meet
Amanda

seventeen
senior
driving
her car
summer job
waitress

We enjoyed our visit.
At least I did and she seemed to as well.
We talked about school and
 her interest in culinary arts
(she is already receiving some college credit).
We talked about her senior year,
her college plans
and some of her hopes and dreams.

My oh my,
where have the years gone?

One day we are
playing with blocks
reading books
American Girl dolls
school shopping
and now

senior year
college
independence
making grown up plans

Time flies
enjoy each
and
every day!

I love you
Amanda

Let's get together again soon!

Amanda is all grown up. She is a beautiful young lady. I'm glad the two of you had some special time together! What a treat!

She is beautiful, just like her Grandmother :)
Time does go fast. Especially the older you get. LOL! Glad you had such a sweet time. I will be over for lunch tomorrow!
