Giving . . .

Our Christmas Eve is spent
at my daughter and son in law's
for our annual fondue dinner
with the grandchildren
and son in law's parents.

Youngest grandchild Jordon
took me aside and said,

"Gramma, would you like this?
It is for your cell phone.
I wove it in art class.
I was going to make it for me
but my phone won't fit in it.
Could we try yours and see if it fits?
I would like you to have it . . ."

Don't you love it . . .
. . . could it be any sweeter . . .
So proud, happy and sharing all in one minute  . . .
I love that little thirteen year old!

I am not much up on phone stuff . . .
this phone is 4 years old
I can talk, text, take pictures
and now my phone is warm and safe too.

Truly my treasured,
always remembered surprise gift
Christmas 2011

And the first time he saw me using it . . .
he was over the moon with
HAPPY
LOVE
PRIDE

could one ever ask for anything more
