The Snow Arrived . . .

the
wind roared
flakes flew
we all
snuggled
in
for
a long
new year
nap

the
thistle feeders
were busy
with
the
finch
families

the
winds
calmed
the
birds
stayed

all
is
well

Lynne-beautiful snow !! and the birds are wonderful-we have had so few this year so far-very unusual for us -even the neighbors aren't having any. They say its because the weather has been crazy-we've had 4 big storms with over a foot of snow a couple times and right now we have none!! very strange for Maine! Take care~~Rain

Hi Lynne, so nice to "meet" you! Thanks for visiting my blog and saying hi! Your blog post reminded me that I need to get bird feed out in my feeders, I always think about it at times where I don´t have time to fill it!!

We´ve had such a weird winter but finally the snow is here and I hope it stays, I´d rather have snow then icy rain in the winter!!! Did you have snow for Christmas or did the snow just come with the New Year?

Hugs from Amy in Norway :-)))

Your snow is beautiful! I wish we would get some. It just doesn't seem like winter.
