my granddaughter
turned 18 a few days ago
it seems only yesterday
she was my little
wide eyed
baby doll
granddaughter
with beautiful
white blond hair
pink skin
who
loved
playing
with her dolls
and
playing
dress up
too
now she is a
high school senior
playing prom and party dress up
with a caring heart
and enjoying
crazy fun times
with her friends
she enjoys her family
and has always
been such a helper
for mom and dad at home
. . .
although
she would rather be
snow skiing
and
tubing
and
enjoying the lake instead
and has always

a mission trip last year
with her church group
was a meaningful experience
amanda fell in love with the children
and learned a great deal about
how others live their life
it looks like culinary arts
will be her school path for next year
