Is It Spring Or Summer . . .

i am beginning to wonder
middle of March and 80 plus degrees
toes, knees and arms are "out"
joyful voices of children are heard
geese are flying in formation
all kinds of bird songs are heard in chirps
neighbors walking by, stopping for visits
windows being washed
raking, cleaning, digging
shorts and sandals
things a buddin' and bloomin'
 Spring . . . Summer
an amazing treat is happening
right here right now
 enjoying these days unbelievably
time for porch sittin'
 riverwood 2012
will be
coming up green very soon

our green in the front
2011

a look into the back yard from the screen porch
woods and garden path extends beyond

happy spring days to each and all

Luscious - beautiful!
We have had more rain and sleet here - not at all springlike!

Your yards are beautiful, Lynne. So lush and green. We've had some nice temperatures this week and I can finally see green peeking through the brown grass here in the mountains. Longing for spring is a universal desire, I think. Thanks for sharing your lovely words and the beautiful photos. Your home is in such a pretty setting.
