The Season Is Over . . .

What fun it has been
watching youngest grandchild Jordon
participate in middle school
pole vault, 100 meter, 440 relay

Jordon found his niche
Track has always been one of my favorites.
I was convinced Jordon would enjoy this competition.
He consistently placed first, second or third in the pole vault

Jordon runs like the wind
and he did a great job running the 100 meter
and the 440 relay, taking first and second places
in each of the races.

Team work is important in all phases of life.
Very important to learn at any age.

My favorite photo;
friendships happening amongst the teammates.

the season is over
~ ~ ~
until next year

Lynne, it seems you have a future Olympian there...how exciting to be able to watch Jordan discover such talents...you must be so proud!
also, I had to let you know that Wilf wasn't our dog...he was a dog that kind of had his own blog (I have a link on my post), and he had been battling cancer these past, almost two years. If you have time, please check it out...it's a very bittersweet blog 'Wilf The Pon Discovers France'...but also very inspiring.

I like sports like track and field. Quiet and dignified, no crazy parents and no fighting...just good old outdoor fun. Good for him being so athletic!

Such a cool kid! I love watching kids involved in sports and team-work. J ran track all through high school and college and has great memories of the camaraderie and friendship! He is still friends with many "track buddies"!
You have such a great looking family, Lynne :)
