Summertime Market . . .


sunflowers


 glads


five dollar bouquets


more bouquets


lilies and ladies mantle 


 
perennials galore


veggies


small sweet carrots
yellow and green beans
went in my market bag


 
 

 
the sweet corn was ready last weekend
but today it was available by the tons
a dozen ears came home with me


 
we had a few ears for dinner 



 the rest was blanched and frozen
     



 
Fresh Frozen Lake Michigan Fish
 sold out each market day


 
  
 beautiful day
wonderful market
friends to visit with
red haven peaches ready
blueberries
sweet corn
goat milk soaps
jewelry
hand made dog collars
popcorn
breads and sweets
lake michigan fish
cheese and more cheese


you name it   you'll find it

Gotta love it. Sorry I missed you. I love the zinnias I got. The lady made me a bouquet of just zinnias. I'm heading back Thursday for more. Oh so pretty.

the flowers are so colorful...for 5 bucks a bouquet...sure worth it!

hmmmmm, i think i'm going to hunt down some corn on the cob for tonight's dinner. yum!

It all looks so pretty!! We have been eating lots of sweetcorn this summer and enjoying it immensely. We seem to have it once or twice a week. Good stuff!!
