So simple and so beautiful. Years ago at a different house I planted Chinese Lantern and someone warned me to be careful because of how invasive they can be. Turned out I didn't really have a problem with them but they weren't nearly as pretty as yours.

Very pretty and colorful ! Lynne, how was that book I saw on the table ? I have seen it in Barnes & Noble a few times. Love a good Irish story or history of it !
Hi Lynne, Here I go again with the wonder of nature, a treasure at every turn. The leaf looks like a poinsettia, I wonder if they are in the same family. You took some really wonderful photos, and in my favorite of all, the blue canning jar! Have a great week my friend. Love, Penny
So pretty lanterns. I don't know these are called "Chinese Lantern" fruit. Just love the bright and cheerful orange/yellow color. Fall is drawing and our Chinese Mid Autumn is approaching. That means lanterns are going to hang on. Loving it.

I have always loved this flower. You have captured its many faces beautifully.
The lanterns always remind me of Fall. Are they from your garden?

Good morning Lynne!
Wow! I LOVE how the lanterns look in your vase!
You are so right... the lanterns look so nice in that vase!
You have convinced me, I need to see if I can grow some lanterns next summer.
Enjoy these last lazy days of summer.
Smiles :)
