Sometimes I Have To Borrow . . .

sometimes i have to borrow
from the photo bank
 my family
in the nineties
the earlier days of
 enjoying jack-o-lanterns
tootsie pops
trick and treating
with the little ones
making their costumes
tyler is now eighteen
in college

jordon is fourteen
eighth grade

amanda is eighteen
in college

cody is 21
working with his dad

my son scott with his daughter amanda
me with cody and tyler

tyler, cody and granny
jack's leg

 my son scott
pumpkin carving
late sixties
 we lived in milwaukee
i know, i know
 showed these last year
this is my melancholy time of the year
i look back in the memory bank
for happy pictures
with memories of my days
with the little munchkins
autumn is here in full force
winds  rain  colder
leaves are falling with a vengeance
and while i was outside a bit ago
washing windows
there were
white flakes in the air
just thought i would let you know

Such sweet pics of the kids in their costumes. Warm memories. Our son was a cowboy or a skeleton every year and our daughter a punk rocker or princess. Sweet memories.

Hi Lynne,

I really enjoyed looking at your lovely happy photos today.

Isn't it lovely to look back?

What a handsome family you have
and of course, you yourself are a very glam lady.

Have a great week
