How Could I Resist . . .

1970
Suzie and Scott
I found this the other day with some of my knitting things.
My precious children, many years ago.

Suzie's dress is a hand knit white, with blue like smocking
Scott's sweater, a striped green wool, to wear skiing.
A neighbor high school gal,
when we lived in Wisconsin
used to baby sit the kids.

She loved to knit
and the kids benefited
from her wonderful talent.

We moved to Michigan
She went off to college.

We lost touch.
I wonder where she is?

Mary Wenban,
are you out there?

What a precious photo Lynne. Wouldn't it be fun if you found your former baby sitter?

I'm glad you didn't resist! And my there are a few pics of my brother and I in front of the tree and it makes me wonder why we never take photos like that any more. It's on my list for this Christmas now. : )

So darling. What a precious keepsake. Makes me want to raid my parents photo album collection for those lovely 70s photos of me and my sister.

That is the sweetest ever! I loved babysitting and I found the girls I sat for on Facebook! Kim and Kelli. When I starting sitting for the family, Kim was three and Kelli was 6 mos. I hope you find the sitter.

Wow, your sweet and darlings! Precious moment to keep and reminds the happy days of the young ones. Sometimes when we found something and the persons related we missed however has no more contact is a bit sad.

Dear Lynne, I know that where ever Mary is, she remembers you and your children fondly. You have a way of getting into someone's heart, in a way that is so special and real. Love that about you! Love, Penny
