Stopping By The Woods . . .

snow
wind
white out

birds
feeding

porch screen snaps

record breaking temperatures
snow  snow  snow
schools closed
roads closed
accidents
blizzard
white
dark
 eve
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Oh how I wish I could capture some close up shots of birds. They just won't cooperate with me. Yours are so nice!

It's so beautiful outside. Your pictures are lovely. I need to get out in the backyard with our camera. I had to clear off the van twice at work today to drive between campuses. Yippee for an old fashioned winter.

Wow Lynne, it looks so pretty there. You have quite a bit of snow down. Isn't it cold? Warm hugs. Pamela

Truly a winter wonderland! We are constantly having to replenish our bird feeders and break the ice on their water bowls - but, like you, I love to watch them feed. Wonderful Robert Frost poetry.

Lovely poem, Lynne! What a winter wonderland, beautiful snowy scenes. My favorite are the beautiful snow covered pines. Keep warm and stay safe.

Dear Friend, Yes, there is beauty in every season, but the beautiful stark snowy landscape makes me so happy. We have had just a dusting here on my side of the lake. I'll have to like vicariously though you dear Lynne. Stay warm, and be safe. Love, Penny
