Mr. IGH is a cleaver guy. I love yard art tucked into the most unexpected places. When we lived in snow country I was usually glad to see it come and cover up the area by my husbands workshop. My husbands piles of car parts were never attractive to look at until they became hills and mounds of white. I use the same “dryer” in my garden room you use on your screened porch when it rains. Small simple pleasures . . . .

Thank you for joining us at NWW for the second week, Lynne. Today is a treat with special blogs on NWW and Downton Abby later this evening. Enjoy!

...and the art display changes as the snow melts, more snow falls, the wind sculpts...and on and on.

I have never thought to hang my sheets out in the winter - don't they get like cardboard?

i like the snow amending your hubby's art. :) but i really like the frozen sheets in the porch. i used to help my mom every sunday morning hang the laundry on the lines - even in freezing weather - then gather it back, sometimes 'breaking' it over my arm to carry it in to hang in the basement to finish drying. :)

Love the structures that you have found in your yard..my you have a lot of snow!

That bittersweet vine is intriguing especially with the snow cover...I love the loops de loops it makes.

Thanks for joining in No Winter Whining..

I'd like to post some of the photos on the Pinterest board, and they will link back to your blog. Let me know.

Hello Lynne:
These are superb images and the patterns which form on account of the snow are, truly, amazing.

This morning we have woken up to more snow which fell overnight. Sadly, in the city, not as deep and wonderful as yours.

Everything is just beautiful. Love all the structures and the displays that the snow made. I wish the freezing rain hadn't just put a layer on top of everything in our yard. It's going to be a fun week ahead with the rain, warm-up and then the cold again. Love MI!!

Lovely, even when partially covered in snow. I love that you are still air drying your linens!

Such a variety. I do have to say I am partial to the bittersweet vine sculpture. I can smell the sheets in my mind.

His creations all look great with all of that snow on them. Isn't it funny how the snow mounds up and creates a whole new piece of artwork?

Hi, I just stumbled across your blog and I feel so at home here. I was born in Indiana, but have lived in Washington state for the past 38 years. I miss the beuitful birds there like the cardinals and blue jays. I also miss the lightening buds, we do not have them here.

Love the tags you made from that crayola clay . . . I'm going to have to look for some of that.

Please come visit and hopefully you will feel welcome and decide to follow me back. I have made so many lovely friends through blogging and I'm looking forward to following your blog and getting to know you better through blogging and common interests.
Your newest blogging sister, Connie :)

What wonderful shots of structures in winter! I am so surprised your globes (blue and red one) haven't broken from the cold, sadly I broke a huge one, not because of winter, just because of me! Thank you so much for visiting my blog and joining in on the "no winter whining" meme, such a pleasure! Cheers~

I love snow sculptures and they always amaze me with what's underneath.

I like snow only because it hide the uglies in my yard.
