Whose Woods These Are . . .

The snow began to fall again yesterday, early afternoon.
By evening we had another ten inches of snow.
For days and days it has been green along the
Lakeshore in Western Michigan.
In one week we have been transformed into a
white wonderful glorious winter wonderland.

Today the birds were busy munching up every little bit of seed
to make up for days of bitter snow flying flakes.

And the Hibiscus continues its indoor blooming.

what a wonderful world

How beautiful!
'The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.'

Glorious snow. Love those heavy heavy branches. I just updated the blog with pictures of our woods taken before our morning coffee. Nothing beats a real MI winter!

Lynne, your trees look beautiful covered in snow. And I love the cute Nuthatch, they are adorable birds. Very nice to see your hibiscus still blooming, you must be doing something right there. You have a lovely world there! Have a happy Sunday and week ahead.

Hello Lynne:
A wonderful world indeed. And, how perfectly you have captured it in these glorious wintry images and the touches of colour both indoors and out. This can be a very challenging time for wildlife looking for food, so we are sure that the birds are very grateful to you for addressing their needs. And, what a marvellous performance they give for you!
