Can you believe the change in just days? My father in law has been visiting from Detroit and he's amazed at how much snow we've continued to get each day.

We certainly have had some strange weather this year.

This is beautiful.

Thanks for linking up today at No Winter Whining. When Jen and Heather asked me to participate I was at a loss as to what to submit. My days are based on keeping it simple during all seasons. The constants in my life are a love of poetry and the sea. Please be sure to pick up your virtual snowball at Heather's. Again, thank you, Lynne.

Hello Lynne:
We do love how snow blankets everything and deadens the sound to a hushed whisper. And, if only we could have more here. This year, we have seen relatively little here in Budapest so please send us some this way!!

It's hard to beat the pristine look of this world when all is covered in freshly fallen snow. I love this look too!

This is a beautiful photo Lynne. Have you had more snow? There's over 2 feet on the ground here at our daughter's and the snowbanks are piled 10 feet high in some spots. The streets are constantly snow packed and it snows lightly every day!

Lynne, I am dreaming of just one more good snow. I may be left to only live vicariously. Beautiful! Bonnie

Ah snow, and more snow...I should be used to that by now.

Maybe after a few years.

Thanks for joining in No Winter Whining.

Hi Lynne... so glad you joined in the "no winter whining" again, I'm just getting around to checking in on everyone... your photos are delightful... Also, thank you for stopping by and commenting on my recent post, for me, finding footprints is a joy as I try to determine what animal it was, and imagining when it was out, where it stay, and wishing I could see it in person... so much fun! Cheers~
