Fair Warning . . .

Venture beyond this point
at your own risk.

Very dangerous
to have in the house.

They will call your name
more than once

You know you are in trouble
when you go beyond two.

Only bake one, maybe two at a time.
Remember . . . I warned you . . .
no complaints please . . . smiles only!

gets the credit for these delicious cookies.

Follow ingredients and instructions on the package of the
Nestle's Toll House Semi Sweet Chips

yet these are some important changes made to that recipe.

Use more brown sugar than white,
* 1 cup brown,  1/2 cup white
* One egg and one egg yolk

* use half semi sweet Nestle's and half bittersweet chips dark Ghiradelli

~ more suggestions ~
soften the butter,
separate bowl, add sugars, salt, vanilla
mix sugars and butter
let the mixture meld together for at least ten minutes

another bowl, whisk egg and yolk until smooth, no lumps,
let stand for 3 minutes, whisk and rest til smooth as silk

add flour with spatula until just combined.

Use ice cream scoop for portions
Freeze scoops in plastic bag, take out as needed.

Room temperature before baking.

Bake cookies @ 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes

I had to laugh at your comment on my blog post "miss your nose"... hahaha, my nose is neither as small nor as cute, so nor worthy of a picture, hahaha~

What a fantastic idea to freeze individual cookies uncooked and cook them up later, never thought about that! Your little heart is just adorable! Cheers~

Lynne, I love cookies! I know cupcakes are the craze but nothing beats a delicious cookie....especially when there is chocolate involved!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Weren't you just so fascinated with Lee R. after watching that interview? The adopt a child story was amazing too. Think about being lonely and then deciding at such a young age to do something about it! Such spirit and character.

Have a wonderful week.
