I Need To Get It Together . . .

i like random five friday
thanks to nancy of
a rural journal
if i could only remember to
be random on friday

1.  i had really thick braids when i was little
i liked to chew gum and one day in first grade
a substitute teacher told me
to remove my gum while in school
she told me to put it behind my ear
i forgot i put it there
bet you know the rest of the story

2.  i have had several nicknames
suzy pickle  falinda  pee hen  miss pheasant
lynner  slick  flash  father  putz

3.  i squeezed twenty four lemons by hand
the other day to make homemade lemon aide

4. the flowers above were grown at my friend barbie's home
although the hosta leaves are mine
i can't seem to grow peonies
i loved this yellow lupine of hers
so i said
please

5.  i used to enjoy traveling and being on the go
now i enjoy being at home
creating as much simplicity and relaxation as possible

Lately, Josie has been obsessed with learning to blow bubbles. I have found gum in very interesting places. Hopefully, it stays away from her hair. Homemade lemonade. YUM.

Umm...I am thinking you could do a blog post on your nicknames and how you came to have them. Some of them are...well...intriguing! ;)

I use to were braids when I was little! I like some of your cute nicknames, but how does "father" fit in? I love homemade lemonade, I am sure it was delicious too. Love your pretty flowers, pretty arrangements. Have a great day and happy week ahead.
