Fall Cuttings . . .

I cut the lanterns today
which I will be using soon
in fall arrangements.

 Pods and flowers
are being dried
for future arrangements.

The gal who cleans for me
was vacuuming today.
I was folding laundry
Snickers doesn't like the vacuum,
. . ., ya think?

Plus the love of her life
is out of town
so she is in a very
sad, state of affairs.

One more night
and things should get back to normal.

Thanks for visiting!
I hope you'll
stop back again soon.

I miss my "lanterns". I had to take them out several years ago as they were taking over the neighborhood. They make such nice, long lasting fall arrangements. I'm trying to hold off with the fall decor until summer is officially over but it isn't easy!!

Best,
Bonnie

I guess it is time to start thinking about fall arrangements. I don't know where I can find some of those lanterns - perhaps a call out to my friends in town to see who has some to share.

Lynne, I love the Chinese Lanterns. Very pretty arrangement. Poor Snickers, she is missing her Daddy? Wishing you a happy weekend!

Snickers is too gorgeous, our Yorkie doesn't think much of the vacuum either. The C. Lanterns are beautiful, I haven't seen any in our area.. your arrangements are pretty.

Love the flowers, they will make awesome arrangements. Poor Snickers. My too big monsters will lay on the floor when I am vacuuming and not move no matter how close I get to them with the vacuum.

Your lanterns are fantastic. Snickers looks so sad. Hugs to you both. Happy Friday!

Snickers definitely isn't her normal self. You can see Jack is gone in her eyes. She's frowning.

Poor Snickers! She looks so forlorn. Lol.

You are going to have some lovely fall arrangements Lynne. Looking forward to seeing them. :)

I have never grown Chinese lanterns. I am watching my pyracantha. It's loaded with berries that are starting to turn orange.
Have a great weekend!
