Wonderfully Fun Kind Of Day . . .

tuesdays with Barbie
unplanned
often it is coffee
or a bagel
sometimes it doesn't work and we cancel

today
we were artists
of sorts

so very enjoyable
thanks to
Jennifer Rizzo
for her pumpkin tutorial post
(scroll down to pumpkin post)

and for barbie saying
let's try it

 blank canvas, brushes, acrylic paints
and then,
the beginning

preserver and concentrate

I think we can do this
(homemade chicken noodle soup cooking while we painted)

few glitches here and there
but we figured it out

proud as a peacock

on the mantle

barbie was proud and happy too

seriously
this was such fun
 the ideas are churning
wonder what we should try next

Love your choice of colors! Really looks nice on the mantle too! You should do something for Christmas too in the way of a painting!!

Two of my favorite colors in there, turquoise, and brown...beautiful. And a great idea for fall decor.

What could be better than a creative day with a friend and at the end of the day having a lovely pumpkin painting to enjoy for years to come? Sounds perfect.
