Last Chapter, NYC . . .

Just a few more photos and then
I am ready to move on to something new from
Irish Garden House.

Here are a few of my favorites.

I liked the art deco of the
 Empire State Building

Boat ride to the
Statue of Liberty
Looking back at the
One World Trade Center

Jack took this photo
of the
Statue of Liberty
on the top landing
before the stairs to the very tip top.

Standing in line waiting for
Phantom of the Opera,
Jack decided to be silly
and superimposed himself
against the Phantom poster
as if he too was a part of the cast.

Jack liked the lines of the Guggenheim.

.
The city looks like it is made of Legos from high above.

View from the
Empire State Building,
the Hudson River to the left.

Standing behind many people
and looking out from the
Empire State Building
at the

Chrysler Building
~
We had a perfectly wonderful time.in the city.

Thank you for following along,
for your kind comments
and for your sweet wishes
for us for our anniversary.

Until next time,
Love, Lynne

Great pix; again!

NYC is one place that I've never desired to go.... it seems far to busy and congested for me. Through your pictures, and words, I feel as though I've gotten a feel for what the city must be like... thank you.

I've enjoyed reading about your visit, and seeing the sights through your eyes :)

Smiles :)

HI Lynne Great shots and you both had a great time by the look of the shots. I had visited NY many years ago for 1 day and took the boat to the Statue of Liberty but had not enough time to go up. Thanks for sharing this trip.

I love Jack's photo of the lady, when I look at it, I can see the clouds actually swirling above!

I've always wanted to visit NYC. Thanks for sharing your visit. I think when I do make it there, I'll be taking your visit with me. :)

Lynne, thank you so much for sharing your trip to NYC. Such a delightful city, never tire of seeing it. I particularly like your perspective in taking shots of buildings. Very nice. I think I've seen more of the city from the air than from the ground. Such a thrill to fly over Manhattan.

I can't wait to go back. It was such an amazing place. The girls need to experience the big city. It's so different from West MI. The culture and history is so rich. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous pictures.
