A Wonderful Day . . ..

a wonderful thanksgiving
some of our family members were with their other families
that happens you know

we missed them
but we had a grand day even so

and the snow, snowy, snowing day
made it all better
it is so beautiful around here
the snow has been persisting for several days
today alone we received another eight inches of snow

putting the dinner together
was made even more fun
with jordon mashing the potatoes
and tyler carving the turkey

the stuffing was the real deal
no stove top stuffing here
gramma peacock's recipe scored again

the turkey was tasty
and as usual
way too much food

some of the greens and bows
made their way into the day
and the
flexible flyer sleds
were ready at the door
for those who wanted to
go for a ride

wonderful day
hope you each enjoyed the same

TTFN
until the next time

Happy Thanksgiving! Beautiful pictures. Didn't the snow make it seem even more magical? The girls and their cousins spent all day sledding at our house.

Your thanks giving day looked like a lovely day, even if all your family were not able to be with you.A lovely winters day photo with all that snow on your spruce tree.
Enjoy your weekend.
