Another snow recap for you!
The photos were taken this afternoon from the inside looking out.
The lake affect snow continues, supposedly ending around midnight tonight.
Polar Vortex is breaking its grip they say.
I am ready!
Stay warm and safe my friends.

It has been a very cold past few days. I will be glad when the vortex disappears.
so pretty, but i know you're ready for some relief!
I love the pine cone shots.
Stunning and beautiful !
Ah, Lynne, I hope you are toasty warm inside. The weather in your part of the world defies description - but the photos are lovely!
Oh my, you got it good. They are predicting more for us tomorrow and Thursday, not sure how much but we already have so much ugghhh!! We will be seeing this stuff until Spring. Love those pine cone shots!!
We didn't get much snow, just the cold. I am envious!
So glad to enjoy your pictures. It's almost like I am there.
It's so pretty if it wasn't so cold! We didn't get any new snow with the polar vortex, although we had about 14 inches on the ground--just enough to form a nice warm blanket for the plants and the critters lingering under branches. I love your photos with the pine cones!
Oh my goodness Lynne ….. what a lot of snow and, so cold we hear. It looks so beautiful and your photographs are wonderful but, I'm sure you would love it all to just disappear. We are getting the weather from New York but, it is just winds and lots of rain causing flooding in some parts thankfully not where we live although we've got the wind and rain !!
Keep warm Lynne and take care. XXXX
Oh my goodness such a lot of snow. We see a lot on TV. About what is going on over there. I hope you can keep warm and have enough food in the house to have you going
Wow, I should not complain about our 6 inches of snow.. It does look pretty there. I love the shots with the pinecones.. Stay warm and enjoy your day!
I really do love the heavy snow on your pines. The GR folks all back to school today. It was a lovely break from reality. It sounds like you might be able to venture outside later this afternoon to check on your birds.
The snow on the pines is very pretty, Lynne. But I know the feeling of being ready for it all to go away. Hopefully soon you can get out and do the things you enjoy. Hugs, Nancy
Lovely cold images.
Hey, that looks pretty familiar...but I bet you are colder then us if you are in the polar vortex.
Jen
And if it stays cold, you can bet that snowfall is not going anywhere soon. How gorgeous it is though. xox
Are you sure Christmas ever left your neck of the woods? Beautiful photos!
Kristin
Lynn, those are absolutely stunning photographs! I love snow! Of course, in our part of Texas we don't get much in our neck of the woods. I'm thrilled so see such pretty sights! Thanks for sharing.
I know you'll be ready for the sun and some warm temperatures. Hope they arrive soon!
I know snow can be a pain in the rear..I know all the miseries it can cause..but I still think it is the most beautiful of scenery that it can create. When I lived in Oregon and it snowed heavily every year..I never got over not having it every year. I get an ache in my heart when I see the pictures of it.
What beautiful photography!
We are all so tired of all this snow but it sure is beautiful to look at and take pictures of, love the pine cones
Beautiful pictures. I always find pictures of the snow prettier when I am tucked away inside the house!
Absolutely beautiful but glad it is not me!
Gorgeous pictures! We are having a rainy night and more tomorrow.
