Lilies of the Valley and . . .

different views

which one do you like

how about this one

let's try a friends photo

how about a photo with a smile

The weather was lovely, the gardens were tended, planter boxes and containers were filled. The sky was blue, temperatures perfect, bike rides, walks and cemetery visits were priority.  Friday found me at my friend Barb's house picking Lily's of the Valley.  Such a pretty spring flower with such a sweet fragrance.  This vintage flower seemed to fit perfectly in this vintage cup  The sprinklers were turned on, the flowers are growing, trees are leafing out, the grass is finally starting to grow.  The lawn was mowed.   Everything trimmed.
Dinner is ready for tomorrow, pork loin marinating in a BBQ dry rub.  Fresh asparagus, a salad with everything green will be the menu. Just the two of us, a perfect weekend indeed.

I roasted a pork loin this evening :) It was just the right thing to do as the weather has turned and we've lost our sunshine. Very warming, to have the oven on and the kitchen cosy.
I love Lily of the Valley - the perfume is intoxicating.

HI Lynne Well I see that none of the previous commentators answered your question. Of course all are lovely and I am sure the smell if lovely. however I am going to give (my opinion) I would like the vase on a round cloth and only have the small smiley framed child beside it slightly angled towards the mug with a plain background and probably with the last table. Having said all that, really whatever pleases YOU it all that matters. Left you an answer on my post today.

I can't choose. They are all so wonderful.

I left these at the house we sold. I have not replaced them. Thanks for bringing me memories of one of my favorite flowers.

Thank you for honoring those who have served.

What a beautiful weekend of sunshine. It makes me think there's hope after such a long winter. Lilly of the Valley always bloom around my birthday. It's a special flower to me. Our woods are filled with blooms that I transplanted from my grandparents home before we sold it. Thinking of you this evening! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

I adore lily of the valley, in all of the photos, and anywhere at all!
Most of mine (which comes from my great grandmother's garden.. she died before I was born) was moved when we added on last summer.
I'm anxious to see how it pops up. And where - I honestly don't remember at the moment where all I put it! :)
This was the most beautiful Memorial Day weekend I remember in a long, long time. Yours' sounds like it was very well spent!

I loved the hankie, but I also like the one with all the photo's. The mug is marvelous. So..hankie with mug and flowers AND all the photo's. :) The flowers are gorgeous.
You know me...more is better. Not a minimalist..by any means.
It should be your choice, it's your home.
Big hugs and more hugs!
