Luck Would Have It . . .

I went for a drive though
several neighborhoods to find an
Irish like stone fence . . .

and look what I found
what did you find for today

Beautiful!
Stone fences are so charming.
Taking something that can be a nuisance and turning into a jewel :)

Well worth it. The wall even in this state is just lovely and the tree growing upon it makes it even nicer!

Love that wall. I am a fan of stone. You have any idea how old this wall is? Great find.

Oh, I do love a stone/rock wall beyond any other. Some others are really close up to the top but stone/rock wins every time.

I really love stone fences and can't help but think about all the hard work that goes into creating one--But they are truly treasures, aren't they?

Oh these are just beautiful stone fences Lynne. I found one near where our son's wedding was held and should take a run out and photograph it. You'd like it. :) Hugs, Pam

Lots of character there! I have a stone wall here, and I love it. It creates so much interest in the garden--in all four seasons.

Lynne, that is gorgeous! I would love to have a stone fence, but I'm afraid it would cost a fortune.
