Rain, Wind, Snow Flakes . . .

 a few weeks ago

we had some rain, wind and snow flakes
this leaf was stuck on the window
stayed there until mid morning

bitter sweet is winding up the old oak tree
a few weeks ago the bitter sweet was getting ready to pop
now it is in full bloom

inside . . .make believe acorns
outside . . . the real deal,
tons of them.
you know what that means don't you
~
'til the next time,
Love, Lynne

Looks like a lot of work ahead with all the leaves but I love the shots with the 1 coloured leaf.

I wish the squirrels would just be happy with the acorns, but they still want my bird seed.. We have bare trees already.. I am not looking forward to the snow and winter..Have a great day!

Ah, winter is coming and it looks like we are info some interesting times. Just as the squirrels gather their acorns, I am lining up my sitting-in front-of-the-fire knitting projects. Preparations!

Hi Lynne,
I love the pictures!!
Brr.. looks like it's gotten colder there. Winter is coming, and soon all the leaves will be gone.

How cute your faux acorns are.
Are they donut holes decorated and iced as acorns?? I saw something similar on pinterest, and thought what a cute idea it was :)

Take care my friend.

Yikes, I do know what that means. Maybe the squirrels have miscalculated. I'm not ready for another long, cold winter.

Love the simplicity of the single golden leaf on the door, and the bowl of make believe acorns.

Beautiful fall pictures. Careful with the acorns. They can make you twist your ankle. Have a wonderful day.

How I'd love to find some bittersweet growing here. It's not a common plant here at all but I sure do like it's beautiful berries in the fall. What do you do with all the acorns? Do you bag them or do the squirrels get to them first and make a mess.

We're so behind on raking at our house. We seem to have other priorities. It was a chilly morning! So frosty, it looked like snow.

I LOVE that leaf stuck to your window!
Very behind on blogging.. lots of it in my head.. not much time to compute these days though. :)
One son had surgery this week.. all fall sports and school activities also wrapped up this week.
A break should be heading my way! :)
