Finally It Snowed . . .

finally it snowed
~
for the past several days
we have been wrapped in a blanket of fluffy white
plus some very cold temperatures
fierce winds too
above was my view early this morning as I opened the door for my walk
very still, crisp and quiet
it changed rapidly throughout the day

what do you think this homeowners last name is

more snow on the snowman

final flower number four bloomed on the one amaryllis stalk
~
not much else going on around here
other than I was freezing today
so I cuddled up in bed under a down comforter
reading and napping a bit
~
it felt wonderful to have a "me" day
see you in a few,
Love, Lynne

Beautiful surroundings and a good book in a warm place. Can't beat that.

You have a lot more snow as usual, but same cold temps. Michigan in January never changes - always bitter!

There is something so wonderful about the QUIETNESS of snow. A day spent curled up under a comforter is a good thing... and well deserved after walking in the cold. ;) blessings ~ tanna

Your photos are beautiful! I don't enjoy cold weather but I do love seeing the snow. Looks like it's time to snuggle up and do some reading.

It looks very pretty there Lynne. I like a fluffy snowfall. Reading in bed sounds wonderful. Maybe tomorrow when it's going to be even colder! Have a cozy afternoon.

Brrr... looks cold, but it is so pretty!
That amaryllis really put on a show, didn't it!?

Stay warm and dry, my friend.

We are enjoying warmish weather today...into the 40's. Very un-usual... but I'm loving it!!

Stay warm, Lynne! It snowed here just a bit yesterday, not enough to slow us down, though and not enough to close school...which is what the kiddos want!! :)

Yep it did. I so like the wintry views even if I'm living in it myself...Hehehe, and the red apple and snowman are just adorable too!

Warm and in bed sounds delightful. I have been out walking Scout in the winter blast, but thankfully the bike paths are getting plowed so it isn't so bad.
