Sweet Little One . . .

Sweet Little One
visited her granny and grandpa this weekend.
She really likes visiting them and although
great granny, (me) loves seeing her and holding her,
I try to be content and happy that photos slide my way once in awhile.

She is in a curious, checking out every little thing phase,
has favorite toys, moving fast, standing, climbing,
discovering finger foods,
loves the water and a sink time bath
and her soft blanket and thumb make her very happy.

Isn't this final photo sweet, she fell asleep in her granny's lap.
 ~
I love ever minute of this
precious little one.

Love
GG

She is so sweet and precious. I love her expressive eyebrows. Pictures aren't as good as the real deal but they will do.

Baths in the kitchen sink are classic. I love her little arm rolls. :)

She's so adorable, Lynne. I love the photos, and especially the last one. She's sleeping so peacefully. The face of a child who is deeply loved. Hugs, Nancy

Dear Lynne..I don't know. I have mixed emotions. I am so happy that my kids are now becoming grandparents, but I guess I thought I would get a chance now and then to have them. So far..it's not been true. Of course, I have to face the fact that just a visit now and then, but no real child CARE is probably a good thing. I had my time. I guess! :) Like you, I get occassional photo's, and I must be satisfied with that. It's my children's turn now. I guess I just want them to remember me more than I remember my great grandmother.
