Good Fences In the Neighborhood . . .

I was happy it was sunny with fresh snow, crispy yet no wind
for my winter walk this morning.
And happy I grabbed my phone to take some pictures
of fences throughout the neighborhood.
some fences are almost buried under the snow
I have to walk along this very busy road for just a bit.
I like this fence near a storage/garden shed.

I found just a few white fences along the way.
Not a fan of this kind of fence, probably creates privacy and protects though.

a bit of leftover holiday

how about stacks of split oak in a fence like line
and how about my favorite from a few weeks ago
with several more inches of snow surrounding the fence
~
I clicked off 5226 steps on my morning walk
I like thinking in steps instead of miles

Great fences covered snow sights. In Texas we are blessed to not get snow like this.

I really enjoyed the walk through your neighbourhood Lynne. There are some beautiful fences in all the pretty snow there. Lovely. What a great way to get in your 'steps' for the day. Stay warm.

I'm such a "pansie" as I won't walk in our weather right now and it's just damp and drizzly. That is some snow and the fences do seem a bit buried under it all.

Doesn't everything look magical under a blanket of snow?

Pretty winter scenes, Lynne! I especially love the last shot! I have been doing my walking on the treadmill, where it is nice and warm... It is too cold and windy here.. Have a happy Friday!

Good for you to even find some fences. I thinking in the terms of steps as well. It makes me happy. I have cut back to 12,000 steps a day right now. Other my ventures downtown it is hard to get out for walks with all the snow.

Wow! That's a lot of steps. Isn't it amazing how we can walk and walk when we're on the hunt for pretty shots? We are thinking of fences here too - to keep the urban deer out of the garden.

theme photos! great idea. I used to do that, once in a while.

I especially like the left-over Christmas bow, on top of the "bower" gate. :-)

and hooray for you! with keeping track of your steps!

Now that is a lot of snow. I hope the snow plough passes your house so that you can get your car out.
Love the fences you chose to show especially the ones nearly buried. Why are you counting steps is this recommened for a healthy heart ?
Enjoy your weekend

I love all the snowy pictures! We have snow at the moment, too. Since we had a solely wet but snow-less winter last year, I'm really enjoying it this year. I'd love going on a morning walk there with you! :)

Hi Sweetheart! I'm so sorry I haven't gotten in my visits lately.
Your birds are so pretty..ours are just little brown things..some with a light red breast..very dull..but sweet. Your feeder cage is just like ours. The fences..so country and rustic. (I'm not going to tell you I am jealous of the snow, but I am!! :)
Love,
Mona

What wonderful shots ... makes me miss my old neighborhood where I was able to go out after a snowstorm and the sidewalks would be walkable ... not so much here :-(
Thanks for sharing all the wonderful photos.
