Hunkered Down . . .

we are hunkered down in sub zero wind chills
blizzard, white outs, snow
more snow
roads and highways are closed
being asked to stay home
off the roads

 Happy Valentines Day

Mister Cardinal showed up yesterday
when the winds and snow were just beginning
and he was saying
WHAT
today that scene is completely white
zero visibility

I am here though
even if I am very late for
thank goodness mister cardinal
showed up before the snow flew
he is perfect for heart day
don't you think
~
Until next time.
Love, Lynne

Cardinals are my favorite birds..next to wild canaries. Gosh he is gorgeous. Where do they go when the storms hit. I'm sure they are fine..
And yes they are the perfect birdie for the day.

My very favorite bird on the planet..I guess cardinals are most every ones favorite, tho.
We are still in warm weather here...in the 70's today..supposed to be cold tomorrow, tho. No snow..needing it or rain or else we will blow away and be covered up with sand come spring.
