A Very Nice Day . . .

Slim pickings for fence pictures for the past few weeks.
Lately my days have been filled with
digging and relaying brick pathways,
laying top soil, grass seed, fertilizer
moving ground covers, plants, ferns, annabelles.
Plus planting a few annuals in the cutting garden.

I changed up the course a bit today
and said enough of this no fence time.
I turned the car toward
one of the biking/walking trails located near us.

This trail happens to border marsh land near
Muskegon Lake.
I jumped from the car, walked a bit to take some
fence pictures for

It was a sunny, warm day,
our first day in the seventies,
beautiful day to be outdoors.

I especially enjoyed this bike trail stop
because I had been inside having my hair cut.
I needed a place to stretch my legs and breathe some springtime air.

It turned out to be an extra special day for me at the salon.
The salon owner asked if I was busy
after my hair cut, and I said, "not really".

She said, "how about a massage."
And it wasn't long after, I was treated
to a complimentary full body massage

Delightful, sweet, young gal
interning from a local college
had me in
mega mellow
in no time at all.
~
So there you have it.
hair cut
massage
photos
some good fences
nice day

Love, Lynne

Now, that's a nice treat! You needed that after all the work you've been doing. Girl, I'll bet you've been over the 10000 every day! I've only had two days over this week. The rest I haven't made it. Have a wonderful day... I hope you have another nice surprise waiting in this one. blessings ~ tanna

Whata day, whata day! It sounds perfect. The fences were not half bad either. :) For spur of the moment fence hunting..I thought you did great!
My daughter is a masseuse and brings her table with her sometime when she visits and it's wonderful. She got her license in Hawaii. It's so relaxing. Yep, you had a perfect day! I would like so much to have a cutting garden..that would be so nice but I don't know where to begin as everything is lawn. :( which we are SUPPOSED to get rid of ..
This was such a nice post, Lynne.

Sounds like you've been quite busy. I'm glad you took some time out and found some nice fences to share and enjoyed a bit of nature. How cool to get a hair cut and a massage. I think I'm a little jealous about the massage.

Oh my, it seems like you had quite a day. All that warm and relaxed feeling just getting in to you—not to mention the complimentary massage. Massages can really bring relaxation like no other, and I think it’s one of the best ways to relieve all those unwanted stress. Anyway, thanks for sharing this with us. All the best!
