Fences and Critters

I met a friend Wednesday at the channel between
Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan.

As I waited for her, I enjoyed watching a mother and daughter
fishing at the channel edge.
It was very sweet to watch the daughter
run back and forth and back and forth again
to patiently bait her moms hook.

Many smiles and kind words between them.

The day was beautiful,
many ships, cruisers and sail boats
going in and out of the channel.

Fences everywhere I looked . . .
A few critters too!

Snow fences have already been put in place
in anticipation of the approaching winter.

It didn't spoil the setting sun though.

George Carlin gets credit for these words on remembering . . .

Remember to spend some time with your loved ones,
because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe,
because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you,
because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart
and it doesn't cost a cent.

Until next time,
Love, Lynne

Are my emails coming through to you??
Spent hours yesterday trying to get things fixed...AOL did their best...but not sure if the problem is solved. The comment will tell the story. Hopefully.

I love bodies of water. . .no matter the form. Carlin's got the remembering down for sure. It takes practice, I think, to make these habits in our life. xo ~ Nancy
