Clementine . . .

check out the shoes

they were a gift to my daughter suzie forty plus years ago

for the life of me I can't remember why or who was the giver

it might have been a house guest from germany

I saved the shoes for some reason and recently gave them to suzie

thinking maybe little miss adorable might be able to wear them

they are huge on her

but she loved them and the tap tap sound they made on the wooden floors

oakland is such a cute little imp

she is observing her grandpa with a deer head in his "deer trophy room"

love her watching expressions

so of course I had to show you

I am so grateful for my daughter and the sweet photos she sends my way

suzie refers to her as

"my little clementine"

~

the little things bring me smiles

She's pretty cute in those vintage shoes which she will eventually grow in to. I loved the English style of leather shoes with the double buckle straps and bought our daughter a pair of red ones when she was about 4 or 5. Wish I'd saved them.
