Now that is a huge job done for another year! You must feel a great deal of accomplishment Lynne. It looks so neat and tidy. We did ours this week and it looks better too but not as 'clean' as yours. Hope the winds don't blow the ones in the woods onto your lawn!!

Wow! Your yard is immaculate!
Not so here... and I do so love well groomed grounds, so it's kindof taunting me. I'd like to mow once more, but we've winterized my mower already.. we would normally have a rock hard frozen ground and usually snow by now. It's a conundrum! :)
We leave most of our leaves for the winter as extra insulation from the harsh cold, then I rake and clean in the spring. However, I'm not used to their clutter being around so long! If it stays dry, I'm mowing this weekend!

Congratulations Lynne you did it before the high winds. I hope they don't blow in from the other trees around you. How tidy your grounds look, it looks like a park. Well done to you and your husband, it's always team work here, so I'm sure it's the same with you. We are still slogging and as fast as we clear the leaves the next day more blow in from the woods near us.

Your garden looks beautiful Lynne ..... all the hard work has paid off. My husband cleared lots of the leaves on Sunday but within a few minutes they were all back !!!!!! XXXX

I'm admiring (drooling) over your neatly edged beds and the pachysandra. I love well tended landscapes and the ground seems to get lower as I age. ha... Save some lunch for me...

I gather you get to rake up a lot of leaves. We don't have many in our front yard but the back driveway gets a bunch. Nice photos today.

Ours seem to be blowing out of the yard, thanks to short grass from three previous weekends of work.
