It's The Little Things . . .

waking up in the morning

looking out the windows to see soft snow falling

see the squirrel reaching out for the feeder ring

the finches, cardinals, juncoes are happily feeding

oh my

it is so quiet and pretty

happy day my friends

So true it's the little things that we see, say to each other, or share that can bring a smile to your face. I send you and your family my very very best wishes and good health for the coming New Year 2016.

I'm loving watching the birds and so is Lizzie. They are clearly on the winter warpath in the food department!

I've always liked that quote that state The "little things" are often the "Big" things. - These are quite lovely. Wishing you all a Happy New Year.

You and I have had terrible heartache in our lives but we have gone on, and to be treated to such beauty in or later years, peace..and people who love you, is such a wonderful thing. It does not make up for our loss, but it's truely a blessing.
Reading this post, I was joyful along with you.
Sending a hug!
