Let's Keep It Real . . .

things are crazy around here

why would I start baking cookies on the twenty second of Decenber

when I need to paint, finish making presents, cards, wrapping

and what about shopping

cooking for the feasts

let's keep it real

at least I am merry

I'll check in later with an update

LOVE

Hello, things are getting busier. Just keep being MERRY!

I made a derby pie and today I am making a Buttermilk Coconut Pound cake to take to my niece's home for Christmas.

Enjoy and have a happy Wednesday. Only 2 days to a Merry Christmas!

It's Christmas chaos and loads of messes at my house, but it's all about traditions and making memories. Christmas hugs!

Oh Lynne, this is the real side. I have finally finished the decorating and shopping....I think. Now onto the grocery shopping, baking, etc. As much as I hate to admit it....the fretting and rushing around is who I am. Tis the season! Hugs and wishes for a Merry Christmas!

Yep..just like home. I don't have as much to do as you do, the girls do it all anymore..and I love it. I guess I am at that time of life. :) Your kitchen is just beautiful, light and bright and cheery.
I have thought about putting in a skylight as the added on family room let in a lot of light but the kitchen is dark and a light has to be on most of the time.
Your kitchen looks like it is being used for what it was built, cooking! LOL
Big hugs and a Merry Christmas to both of you fantastic people!
Love,
Mona

Your canvases are beautiful. I think all of us are running a little wild right now. Gatherings, wrapping, cooking... and it's in two days! Add to it that it feels like October! No wonder no one is ready!

Have a glorious Christmas. It will happen and we'll all have fun!
