What A Difference . . .

ah yes

what a difference a day makes

or what a difference a year makes

the photos above are from

november, december, january

twenty fourteen and fifteen

~

we managed to get a bit of snow

this past week to add to the twenty sixteen snow we have on the ground

but no twelve, fourteen, eighteen inches like years before

I went digging through and found these

pictures from the past

and I thought the

cardinal photos and snowy ones

would be perfect for

Saturday's Critters

http://viewingnaturewitheileen.blogspot.com

(thanks Eileen for hosting)

~

white snowy days, green muddy days

I hope you find something to enjoy each day

a walk, a good book, family, friends, warmth, kindness, laughter, snow, blue sky

it all matters

Big difference here, too, Lynne! Thankfully! We did get a big dump two times, this season, but right now it's only mildly chilly and green grass all around. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

I think it's the same all around the world, the changes in the weather this winter. For those that need the snow or rain it causes difficult problems. We seem to have had Rain, rain, rain, and even more forecast for next week.
I've grown webbed feet & I feel in a blue mood. So it was lovely to see your photos, especially the birds.

Love your shots of the cardinal - I only use my phone, so though I love to see them against the white of the snow, I never can get a good shot. They always make me feel like I'm receiving a little wink from above.

I can't get birds well to save my soul and so I'm in awe of your splendid cardinals! They're lovely!

Hello Lynne, is it weird you have had less snow this year? I love the cardinals in the snow, they are so pretty. Lovely photos and post. Thanks so much for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

Lovely cardinals, I have them in the backyard too. They seem very happy it's spring at last!

Pretty cardinals. I'm glad you've had a milder winter this year. We had a real winter here, but we have rain instead of snow now, and my daffodils are peeking through the dirt. Happy Sunday, Lynne!

Good morning from Californa, Lynne. The snow is just beautiful! Cardinals are favorites of mine and I can't imagine looking out the window and seeing one in my yard. How wonderful! So..how are you doing, sweetie? :) Everything is blooming here. a few clouds and a wee overcast but that's it. Hanging blinds in the family room...and they are looking great.
You picked some beauties from your photo's for your "Critters" meme. Just beautiful!!
