On My Own . . .

I took off by myself a few days ago
on a misty, cool, somewhat foggy day to
Lake Michigan
or as we say, to the "big lake"
to see the water, the sand, the waves and look for fences
there were still many snow fences in place
I drove back along Muskegon Lake
and found a few more fence pics,
amidst some milky foggy views.

things are going to pop this week
temps are predicted to be in the sixties and seventies
I am seeing color. . . finally
blues, purples, yellows
makes for some happy

Sometimes it's good to get away sometimes it's good to have the peace and tranquility, to be able to walk by the sea or in this case the leak, degrees and hopefull clean air and to relax.

Hello Lynne, pretty shots of the beach fences. I love the Lincoln quote. I am hoping for warmer temps and that it stays warm. Enjoy your day!

What beautiful scenes. I love our Great Lakes. Living 2 hours south of Duluth, it (Lake Superior) feels like it kind of anchors me. I'm sure that others feel the same about their Great Lake. Have a wonderful day, Lynne. xo

So peaceful and how lovely you were by yourself. I love that, one of my friends is the complete opposite and always wants to be in crowds I often wonder how we became friends. I hope you were able to concentrate on seeing other things as well as fence snapping with your camera .

I'm so excited that we are due for decent weather! I just long for a time when the lake (any lake!) is warm enough to even wade in!

Our fences are still up too, but I bet they will be coming down very soon now that warm weather seems to have arrived.

With a house full of people, all bustling around, sometimes, I take the long way home along the shore. It's nice.

Winter clean up is not always fun. Yes, spring entices us but we both know that Michigan winters can be harsh and leave behind a mess!

Happy Birthday to your son...he's quite handsome! I love that you took a ride along the "big lake" We sometimes take that route to our lakehouse just for sightseeing and stops at a few good places!
