Random 5 Friday . . .

ONE
I drove all over today looking for photo subjects. It felt like I was having a really great "me day."
TWO
The weather has been literally driving the residents of the State of Michigan crazy. It has snowed every single day . . . for days. Not the 6, 12, 18 inch pile up kind of snow. Just the drippy, rainy, freezing, sleeting, slushy, spitting kind of snow. You know what I mean . . . yucky stuff, we are all sick of it! It was warmer weather in February than it has been so far in April.
THREE
My great granddaughter did not fall in love with the butterflies.
FOUR
What has happened with regard, respect, kindness, civility, honesty, humility for one another.
FIVE
The misty snowy day today made for some very nice photos.

I LOVE your "honesty" in your Random 5, and I'm sorry your play-date with GR-Granddaughter didn't end with her not loving the butterflies. I'm also sorry for the ugly weather, but you've chosen to see the beauty in taking photos in it, and I know that can't be easy when you just want it to go away!

Hope you have a good evening, and are staying warm -- Snow and rain expected in our corner of VA for the weekend. I guess it's coming from your direction! :-)

What a pretty spot. We need to find the beauty in this dismal weather somehow :-)

I wish I could send you a stream of blossom-scented air from here, Lynne. You know I would, if I could! I hope that the long wait will make the eventual arrival of spring all the sweeter.
With regard to your #4. I despair at the lack of civility and respect, especially in politics where future leaders seem to have no idea of what a real leader might be, setting examples that we wouldn't tolerate in a schoolyard. Humility is, sadly, so often lacking. I am quite sure that there are many who have no real idea of the true meaning of the word.

Soon, Lynne, soon we will launch headlong into crazy, changeable, beautiful, incredible spring. It will happen so fast, our heads will spin with delight. For the next few days I will stay by the fire, read a good book, and dream of spring that is just around the corner. Thanks for your fun post and your bright spirit!

1. It's always good to have a "me day" to enjoy.
2. That does not sound like fun at all.
3. Oh that's sad she didn't like the butterflies. I thought they were gorgeous.
4. I so agree - People are so rude any more.
5. Well atleast there was a positive about the nasty weather.
