Cozy Little Fence Gate . . .

I am sorry I can't claim it!

It belongs to Mona of

Wysprsweetly of Cottages

Mona says Hi . . . she hasn't had her usual zip

so has not been posting as much.

She had this fence and gate made for her porch.

It keeps her doggie safe from wandering away!

Linking up with Good Fences

Thanks Theresa for hosting, congrat's on #119!

~

Let me introduce you to

"Miss Molly, By Golly"

"Betsy" was getting very tired after nineteen years of mowing.

So I treated myself.

I tried her out for the first time a few minutes ago.

I did just fine until I had a bit of an episode when I was going under/around a tree.

Skinned myself up a bit but I'll be fine.

I pushed the accelerator instead of the brake,

the controls are opposite from my previous JD.

Lawn, edging and trimming are finished and "hubs" and I am ready to

Celebrate the Fourth of July

You will find us enjoying some

Parades, Fireworks, Ribs, Campfire, S'mores this weekend.

Have a wonderful 4th, Lynne. Glad you're ok! Tricky driving off road! :)

I still do my yard too, but not with a riding mower. I would kill myself and knock down everything in sight.

I wish I had a riding lawnmower but with these hills I don't think it's greatest idea for me. Zero turn might work but those things are expensive

Thank you, Lynne. You didn't have to tell where that fence was..I thought you could just throw it in with your other fence finds. :) So sweet of you to mention where it lives.
PH just plain drooled over your mower. He has a John Deere bike and used to have a mower similar to yours in Maine. His favorite thing was to mow that enormous yard of his Mom's. Then it was ours and now it's sold and he won't be riding any more. They really are fun to drive, according to him, so enjoy! It's just beautiful..Yep, PH admired it GREATLY! :)

Oh do be careful with that mower. Looks like a very nice one.

Congratulations on your new "ride"! We have had a John Deere riding lawnmower for years and are very pleased, still. (Ours doesn't have the fancy grass collector attachment, though). -Jenn

Love the new 'Miss Molly'. I am a total dud when it comes to mowing so I leave that totally to the hubby. Our JD mower is now around 9 years old... Hubby keeps it pretty well maintenanced and orders parts when necessary. It's his baby. Hoping it holds out quite a few more years since lawn riders are so expensive. Glad to hear that your riding mishap was only a little one. xo
