oh, mouthwatering... we made a ton of apple crisp in my childhood household. once in a while we'd do the recipe with oatmeal in it just for something different. yummy!

Believe it or not, I was just getting ready to pour through my cookbooks for an apple crisp for tomorrow night when a recently widowed friend comes to dinner. Honey crisps are my favorites and I have quite a few so it seemed a natural. Perfect timing!

I was just thinking I needed to get some apples, and this is why! This crisp looks delicious, and perfect for a chilly night like tonight, even with ice cream!!

Oh gosh, I'm salivating! We need to get out to the apple orchard and the pumpkin patch soon! We have the best apples here in the north, don't we? ;-)

Apples are here, driving in town the apples are all over the lawns, so pretty in the trees. i just picked all my plums and made a tart. This recipe sounds right up my alley.
Happy Fall. yvonne

I love honey crisp apples and they grow at the orchard near us but are so expensive! And they are expensive in the stores too! You've changed your blog look. Nice and clean. ;)

That looks amazing. I bet it smelled and tasted even more amazing. I'm so happy that we have apple orchards all around us. I think it's one of the best parts of Autumn...aside from Halloween!
