In The Mood . . .

Watercolor paint night tonight . . .
As my friend Donna was arriving . . . guess who also stopped by for a visit . . .
Put us in the mood for some springtime painting . . .

Our friend Barb was planning on joining us to give us some
watercolor pointers but had to decline to care for her mother.
Hopefully she can join us next week . . .

Donna and I struck out on our own with watercolor.
We totally enjoyed trying something new . . .
Such a relaxing evening . . .

Donna's adorable bunny twins . . .

And my attempt . . .

Donna's carrots . . .

and mine . . .

Cool temperatures with beautiful bright sunshine here in Western Michigan today . . .
Springtime is happening . . .

What signs of spring are you noticing ?

Love ~
Lynne

I LOVE the idea of Paint Night -- and I am very impressed with both of your works. I should draw some carrots! That orange really inspired me!

Good Afternoon Lynne, I'm so pleased to hear that spring has finally arrived for you. I have to say, here in the North of England it is pretty cold, although the weather man does promise that the weekend will be warmer. I do hope so because it will be so nice to turn the central heating down a notch or two.
Gosh you are talented. I loved your paintings and your friend's sketches of bunnies is lovely.
I love the idea of getting together with a friend to do something creative, that is why I enjoy Tuesday mornings with my friends when we gather to chat and to sew.... maybe a little more chatting goes on.
Enjoy your day.
Best wishes as always.

What a fun evening! And wonderful watercolors to enjoy and remind you of the time you spent together. Bunnies and carrots definitely say "Spring". We had a sunny day today, near 50 degrees. I spent most of the day in the garden shed repotting geraniums that have been indoors all winter long. It was 70 degrees in the shed and just heavenly. I'm singing like a lark tonight! xo

I loved your bunny picture AND those carrots! Wow! SO cute for Easter. What I am noticing, other than the blooming tree's and how bright green everything is..including the rolling hills that look for all the world like Ireland, I've noticed my constant sneezing! Never use to have that reaction to Springtime. Isn't it just gorgeous out there.. a beautiful time of year.
