Let us send caring and hope to coastal Texas . . . children, people, pets, families and more . . .
Let the rains cease, the floods diminish . . .
Let us give thanksgiving to the rescuers . . .
The shelters . . .
The helpers . . .
Let us remember in any way we can . . .
The devastated, weary, frightened, empty, lost . . .
It is what we are about . . .
Let us be there for the broken hearted . . .

Beautiful post..Love the photography using the sunflowers...Your Granddaughter is lovely...Remembering those in Texas...We went thru that with Agnes on a slightly smaller scale..
What gorgeous photos you took of your granddaughter and the sunflowers. She's a lovely young woman. - Yes, we have much to be thankful for and prayers are so powerful. Praying for all those in need today for whatever reason.
Hello, beautiful photos of your grandaughter Amanda. Love the sunflowers! My thoughts and prayers go out to the people in Texas, all the victims of Storm Harvey. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
Unbelievably beautiful -- what a wonderful spot to share with your granddaughter.
Yes, worried about a couple of my bloggers along with many strangers.
Put the book back to you in the mail today -- you should have it in a few!
Sunflowers are my favorite, Lynne. Your granddaughter is beautiful amongst them (I love her braid and her pretty dress). My heart goes out to all residents of the flooded areas in Texas...devastating but so good to see the kindnesses happening there, especially in this day & age! My heartfelt prayers for all of them.
What a way to spend a day...among the sunflowers! Gorgeous flowers, gorgeous girl. And yes, those terrible floods. My heart just aches for all involved...
Your photographs are stunning. I am on the east coast of the US. We have friends in Texas, but thankfully they were not in the area so ravaged by the storm.
Such a beautiful post of your granddaughter and also the sentiments. There is so much loss happening in Texas, heartbreak, disappointment and fear of how their lives will be returned to normal. I'm so sorry this happened to them. Thank you for these lovely words, Lynne. xo
P.S. and as you know, I am in LOVE with sunflowers. xo

Thinking of the people of Texas and those hit by Irma .... it must be frightening and devastating.
Beautiful images of your grand daughter Lynne ... what a pretty girl.
Sunflowers have never been my favourite flower for my own garden but they always look amazing en masse in a field. XXXX
