Hello, Lynne,

You furbaby is so sweet. I wish I could give her a hug! I have always loved dogs since I was a little child too. Adorable photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

I remember when that changed happened for Scout, it was sad.

What a sweetie - love a sleepy dog, snuggled on a blanket.

Enjoy every single treasured moment (and I mean every single one) with your sweet little baby now. Those moments become more precious with every day that passes. Someday, when your heart is broken, you will only have these moments to see you through. I am walking the same path with my dear grand dog - Milo. I have had my heart broken so many times by these dear little souls. Nine cats over 47 years and 2 grand dogs - one of whom thought he belonged to me and not my son. He was the hardest to let go of. So enjoy, cement these images into your brain, snuggle, hug, and love that beautiful face ... now.

Snickers has such a sweet face and I'm pretty sure her nature is just as sweet, Lynne. Hubby & I have 2-granddogs, Bichon Frises, Bella & Lucy and they are so loveable.

She's a sweetie pie! Such cute pictures. And I loved seeing you with your little cocker spaniel. I had one named Penny and one named Ink Spot when I was a child also!

I hadn't realized that Snickers was that old. Such an adorable pup. Hope she lives forever. Wouldn't that be wonderful if we could keep our fur babies around forever? *sigh* I grew up in a house that always had a dog or a dog with pups, a bird, a hamster, a pony..... I think pets are essential to young children in teaching them empathy and caring, and as we age I think pets are about filling the gap left by our children having left the nest, having a small loving creature that loves us unconditionally. We sure love our fur babies!

She looks so sweet. It's hard to watch our pets get older, it seems to happen so fast. Winter - I love winter, but still the lack of daylight makes me want to nap through much of it. I think animals have that same instinct. Spring may bring a little more energy.

Oh- It is so hard to see our pets aging and know that one day they will cross that Rainbow Bridge. Blessings and prayers that your sweet pup has life left in her yet. xo Diana

Oh, sweet Snickers. It will be tough to say goodbye when that time come. But I know you are cherishing every single second you have until then. And I hope it is some time away.

I loved the adorable photo of you as a child with your pets. Aren't you glad you have those?
