Winter Walking . . .

I learned very fast a bit ago . . .
Brisk Cold Zero . . .
Is a much easier walk than a
Windy Gusty Twenty Eight . . .

Oh My!

I only walked a mile but it felt like five . . .
I didn’t want to “go out” but I knew if I ended my walk commitment now
I might not get my mojo back . . .
So out I went . . .
WHEW . . . happy to be back home with my book.
Excellent . . . no doubt many of you have read this 2004, ‘broken for you’ book . . .
It is a “stay with it” book . . . with love grief resilence broken hope journey spirit more . . .

Little garden house tree looks quite lonely in the deep snow . . .
And the garden house is crying for someone to visit . . .
The snow is weighing the branches to the ground . . .
And todays wind is blowing more Oak leaves from the trees . . .

No doubt about it . . . Winter Arrived . . .
love

I do love the little house. I've avoided being outside. Fighting a cold and figured I don't need to add to the odds. But I know what you mean about the wind -- really ugly!

You are brave Lynne - I have been struggling in this deep freeze! Couldn't believe it when I saw skiers on Mt. Brighton on Friday - that must have been painful!

Lynne, You are brave! Over the past week I've stayed under a blanket. Good for you for staying the course. Stay warm and keep up the good health goals!

Taking walks...good for you, Lynne. Very healthy for sure. Me? I'm still pedaling my exercise bike where I'm nice & warm and enjoying nature's sights from my sunroom.

Your garden house is gorgeous..just love it all tucked in to the snow...I would much rather walk in the cold than the heat..So would Mollie...Not a fan of the wind though..Thank goodness that has gone..Single digits with wind is brutal..

I walked today as well. I was so bundled that the cold didn’t get to me. But I am so out of shape I couldn’t do more than 15 minutes.

Good for you for braving that wind and walking. You are braver than i am! I love your little stone garden house!
It is cold and snowy here, too, and I am already anxious for Spring. xo Diana

Oh Lynne stay safe. I am so impressed you are getting out in the frigid weather covering the country. We have stayed below freezing, but no snow. Nothing better than a good book when it cold outside. Hugs! Bonnie

So peaceful and remote, paradise - as long as you can stay warm.
