TUESDAYS WITH WATERCOLOR . . .

and what a great time it was . . .
Friend Donna played host
and friend Barb and I showed up with our paper, paint, ideas!

Barb had a great idea in mind and she started right in . . .
She had purchased a gadget to cut hearts.
She painted paper with graduated colors of watercolor.
Then . . . as the paper dried, she cut out hearts and placed them in various frames she had purchased.
I think some of Barbie’s family will be lucky to be on the receiving end . . .

Donna was finishing up her some of her greeting cards . . .
Stunning snowflakes and precious snow people . . .
Donna has such a whimisical touch . . . I love her “snowy peeps” . . .
I am sure Donna’s family/friends will be gifted with one of her hand painted originals . . .
Each of us were caught up in the heart theme . . .

Abbey Girl . . . now ten weeks, is growing by leaps and bounds . . .
Donna and Chuck found a gem in this little pup . . .
Abbey enjoyed playing ”squeaker toy” while we painted . . .

I did my typical putzin’ around a bit . . . until I found my niche . . .
I painted a bunch of hearts . . . different shades and colors . . .
The hearts came home with me and I have been doing some card creating with them . . .
Finding phrases and love thoughts is right up my alley . . .
I think I am all set with Valentine Cards for some giving . . .

Blueberry, Raspberry bars and chocolate coconut cookies weren’t refused by any of us!
We sure do enjoy our “watercolor days”!
***
if there ever comes a day
when we can’t be together
keep me in your heart
i’ll stay there . . .
***
till next time . . .
love

They're all wonderful! Believe it or not, I've never painted on watercolour paper before. I love the look of the hearts in those clear glass frames. You have lovely handwriting and it looks great on those cards, too. -Jenn

How cute, Lynne! That must be so much fun to get together with others that share a love of painting and crafting. I love both of your creations. Anyone on the receiving end is really lucky if you ask me.

What a sweet little pup. She looks like a sweet baby. xo Diana

Oh, this is so funny! I have been playing with my heart cutter, watercolors, painting hearts and making a few "heartfelt" things too! I should have started back about a month ago! I did the same thing with the heart cutter and the watercolor paper. Your stuff is beautiful, as is that of all your friends. I really love the technique on the snowflake. It's exquisite. Wet on wet is one of my favorites. You never know what you'll get but it can be pretty magical. And I adore that sweet snowman. I've been playing with using more line ink in some of my stuff. And I especially love your valentines. You have wonderful handwriting for cards!

This is SO MOTIVATING! I love it!
