Great Granny Day . . .

She arrived in her favorite bridal play dress
Shoes on and soon shoes off
Visit was planned
Play-Doh, paper, pens, Snickers ready for fun
She wanted to make cookies
Out came the mixer
Four years old
Learned how to crack open an egg
Good job
Put leash on Snickers, bare foot, bridal dress, tatoos, out with the dog to go pp . . .
Upstairs, downstairs, porch, outdoors . . . busy busy busy . . .
”Dang these cookies are good.”
A few hours later daddy came to pick her up
And then
tears

No sooner than saying goodbye to Oakland and her daddy
Text from my son, “what are you doing” . . .
Doorbell rings . . .
Son and DIL and GG Eligh at the door
And now the two year old action begins
Out come the matchbox cars
Out comes Simon the ventriloquist doll
Open doors, close doors, repeat repeat repeat
Trips around and around . . . and around and around
From LR to DR to Kitchen to Hall to REPEAT . . . again and again
Time for a banana and pizza too . . .
Plus watered the plants, sidewalk, windows, house . . . thanks Scott . . .
No chance to get many pictures

The joy of children (and all that busy-ness!) This sounds like a wonderful day, and so nice that they are close enough to drop in on their Great Granny.

Sounds like a wonderful and a wee bit exhausting kind of day! I love the contrast of boy to girl activities and the tears at goodbye time. No place more fun than Great Grams. ❤️
