REMEMBERING . . .

in this rainy, yellow, gold changing fallish, melancholy time . . . I have collected a bunch of pictures
from our albums. I know many of you don’t even know who this “Gary Chap” is/was . . .

Gary is my late husband, and “dad” to our children, Scott Gordon and Sue Guinon. After my most recent post, some of you sent me questions asking about Gary. I realized then, that I have met some new friends since I had posted about him previously.

Yes , it was so sad, shocking, devastating . . . to say the very least. Gary was out with friends for a jog run and collapsed at the end of the run of a massive coronary. He was 41 and so was I. He had had no heart problems to our knowledge. Healthy, athletic, active, much loved man.

*******
sorry for this mix match picture collection . . .
we loved boating, sailing, skiing, camping . . .
we loved life, our family, our friends . . .
Update : I have had to delete a few pics . . . posting way too large.

Life is short and unpredictable. We all never know when we will be here no more. Memories are cherished things.

I have a lot of very similar pictures. Motor boat instead of sailboat. Water skis instead of snow skis.. Camping was the same except it was raining. Melancholy for sure. Thanks for sharing.
