As angry and disconnected we are from each other now ... I find myself letting others go first, saying "Thank you sir" when a male opens the door for me and my blind husband (even if that male is only 19 years old and has a nose ring,) being more patient and considerate on the road while driving, and so on. I find myself becoming more considerate and more compassionate almost out of a private revolt to how far down the "rabbit hole" we have fallen as a nation and a people. It is my little way of being a 73 year old revolutionary ... my way of saying - you, 2020, can't change who I am.
