TAKE TIME
Gorgeous Day in Western Michigan
All it took was an extra long day, a ride in the car
to see the yellows, browns, a bit of orange and red.
No money spent, (except for gas) no inside stores, places,
just the two of us going for a Sunday ride.
Left River Road, going East, went to Maple Island Road,
toward Fremont, turned toward Montague.
Drove near Whitehall and then toward Lake Shore Drive
along the lakeshore and then headed back toward home.
(Pictures taken from the car, some a bit fuzzy,
but no doubt you’ll get the idea!).
(A thank you to Deborah for this piece above.)
I hope you too will “make room for taking time” for those you love “
and for all the little things that really matter.”

I love going on a drive and seeing all of the nooks and crannies around our rural area. You have some great shots!
Take time...Make time...Glad you did..beautiful
It sounds like a fun, fabulous day for you, Lynne! We don't have a ton of color yet but in some cases, trees are bare. It's very odd. I saw a lot on 96 coming home from Detroit on Saturday. Everything is on its own schedule. Looks like you picked a perfect day for a wonderful road trip!
Our colors here are not so vibrant! But there is beauty if you just look for it. Thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed going on the ride with you & Mr. Irish thru your pictures, Lynne. Hubby & I enjoy doing that too...and did just yesterday! Thank you for TAKING TIME to share it with us. That closing graphic is so true.
Love all those colors.
Sounds like a joy-filled kind of day! I love to go for rides and see new things and enjoy the beauty of the seasons.
A good reminder to put forth effort for those we love, and to sprinkle kindness where we can.
Have a lovely weekend :)
