as I was looking at
Chillin With Jill
I caught
her mention of
pine cones
my mind went
ZING
and I decided
right then and there
to go to the "big lake"
(Michigan)
for a walk through the dunes
and look for pine cones
Lo and behold
not only did I find
pine cones
but I found
very small
gray cones
not brown
GRAY
They were laying in the sand
no doubt at the end of their life span
might be why they are gray.
No matter
they are
fabulous
perfect
and
my mind
is
swimming
with
ideas
. . .
SOON

Love this, Lynne! I'll be watching. :)
Hi Lynne,
I love cones and I love the smell of them too, so fresh and clean.
Well done on going for your walk and collecting lovely cones both brown and grey!
Looking forward to seeing what you will do with them.

love your sprigs of pines too. :)
Hi Lynne, I have a thing for pinecones too! Tyke comes home with pockets full when we walk. He thinks I need help! ;-) Can't wait to see what you come up with. Love, Penny
We have very few pine cones since we have few pine trees. They're lovely though.. the cones I mean.
I love pine cones, I wonder what you are going to do with them :)
